Summer 2015

it definitely hasn’t been a dull summer by any stretch of the imagination. Where to begin first…

Well, Emerson got pinkeye on the VERY last day of daycare. And then a double ear infection the week after that. This has been a recurring problem for us and our otherwise healthy baby so luckily Vanderbilt Medical Center was able to fit us on way ahead of  our previously scheduled time. Emerson is the proud new owner of some ear tubes and has been doing GREAT with them so far. It was definitely weird sitting in that waiting room while they were operating on her but God is oh so good.

We have weddings and festivities Galore and are happy to celebrate with our friends Stephanie and Chase and their big days. Instead of our normal summer travel, we’ve had to keep things mostly in the family so we’ve had 2 trips to Michigan and one visit from Gigi and Pop Pop.

Father day was amazing yet again and I loved special time with my girls.

Becky and I took advantage of the Friday observance of the 4th of July and had an all day date day. It was so much fun!!!

Oh yeah, and I’m starting my 7th graduate class at MTSU this week too. So, no rest for the wicked!

Only one month to go…

until school starts back for sure we will soon be counting the days until Labor Day
